Abstract
The aim of this research is to examine and analyze the influence of career development and work environment on the work motivation of employees of the South Sumatra Provincial Trade Service. The number of respondents used as a sample was 48 people who were employees of the South Sumatra Provincial Trade Service. The statistical analysis stage was used to test variable validity, measure reliability, and test the influence of career development and work environment on work motivation. The results of the validity test show that there is a significant relationship between work environment variables and work motivation. These results identify that career development can especially influence employee motivation. And a good work environment can also make employees feel comfortable working so they can improve their work so they can achieve their goals. from the company itself.
