Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effect of compensation on employee performance at CV. Lematang Design. This research involves stages of statistical analysis to test variable validity, measure reliability, and examine the effect of compensation on employee performance. The research results show that the R Square (R2) value is 0.485, which indicates that there is 48.5% variation in employee performance at CV. Lematang Design can be explained by compensation variables, while the remaining 51.5% is influenced by other factors not observed in this study. From the simple regression analysis carried out, the following regression equation was found: Y = 23.358 + 0.623X, where Y is employee performance and X is compensation. The significance value for the compensation variable was obtained at 0.000, which shows that there is a significant influence. This is confirmed by the calculated t value of 5.983 which is greater than the t table of 2.021 at a significance level of 0.05. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between compensation and employee performance at CV. Lematang Design. These results show the importance of providing adequate compensation to improve employee performance in the company.
